205 - October: Luke prepares for Jess arriving, and Jess is terse. Jess meets Rory and Lorelai, is unlikeable. Steals shit. Luke pushes Jess in a lake, then puts down some rules, and Jess meets Rory again (stealing her book).
206 - November: Work uniform jokes.
208 - November: Jess draws a dead body marker outside Dosey's. There's a town meeting about Jess, Luke defends him. Rory confronts Jess about the consequences for Luke, so Jess fixes his toaster.
210 - December: Jess gets in fight at school, and attacks Dean. He's angry because Liz doesn't want him home for the holidays. Jess comes to party at inn, and jumps into Rory's sleigh, and they talk. Jess wrecks a snowman so Rory's wins.
2002
212 - January: Jess meets Paris and is a lil shit. Jess switches VHSes so Rory will stop being postergirl for censorship.
213 - February: Jess annoys Rory and Dean in the store. Jess bids for Rory's picnic basket for $90, and annoys Dean. They have a nice lunch, and Jess refuses to answer that it was a plan to go on a date with her. Rory loses her bracelet. Rory calls up Jess to chat.
215 - February: Liz finally sent Jess's stuff (after 4 months), Jess snarks. Jess plays loud music to sleep, Luke decides they're moving. They go apartment hunting, Jess snarks. Jess goes to clean Lorelai's gutters, chats nicely with Rory, who demands he be nicer to Lorelai. Jess has a nice lunch with her, until Rory comes back having lost Dean's bracelet. Jess returns it to her room, and tells her to look again. Lorelai calls him out on it, assuming he stole it, while Jess clarifies. Luke buys their building and knocks down a wall.
216 - April: The diner is getting remodeled. Jess brings a food care package for Rory, and wants to stay to eat. He discusses literature with Paris and gets along. Dean arrives before Jess can leave, Jess annoys him, but also tries to get Rory out of trouble. Rory thanks him for the care package and needles him about that he just wanted to come over.
217 - April: Rory drags Jess down to the diner to help out. Jess attends a town meeting. Jess works at the diner. Jess helps arrange a wake for Luke's benefit.
219 - April: Jess annoys Lane in class. Luke gets called into meeting about Jess failing, and Luke confronts him about it and what he's going to do for his future. Jess is annoying, doing magic tricks while Rory tries to tutor Jess. Jess convinces Rory to go out driving and get ice cream. Jess is a prat. He doesn't believe education will do him any good, that he will never go to college. They give each other adorable encouragement. Something runs in front of the car, Jess swerves and crashes. Jess calls the ambulance and makes sure she's okay, before he disappears. Luke finds Jess at the lake. Jess doesn't want to stay, so Luke takes him to a bus back to New York.
221 - May: Jess calls Rory from NYC to make sure she's alright. Rory ditches and finds Jess in Washington Sq Park. They go eat hot dogs, then go to a record store. He takes her to the bus station to send her home.
222 - May: Jess returns for summer, says he wants to move back in with Luke. Jess goes to Sookie's wedding to find Rory and tell her he's back. She kisses him, then runs off.
301 - September: Rory never calls him this summer, so Jess hooks up with Shane.
302 - October: Jess makes out with Shane. Jess meets Rory in the market, asks how she was in Washington. They discuss Shane, and Jess calls her out on being quiet all summer, and still being with Dean. Jess leaves.
304 - October: Jess makes out with Shane. Jess hides someone in the closet when Lorelai and Luke runs in. Luke later calls him out on it, and they discuss Shane and how they treat each other like dirt. Jess says girls don't care about him and he won't sit around waiting.
305 - October: Jess sees breastfeeding. Jess rescues Rory from evil sprinklers, and turns them back on so Dean can also rescue her.
306 - November: Jess gets a new car, everyone assumes he's stolen it. Jess gets Luke to sign the registration for it, telling him he's bought it from Gypsy. Lane shouts at Jess about the car, and he argues with her and Rory. Jess discovers Luke's gone through his stuff, and has to admit he's been working at Walmart, and Luke mocks him about it. Rory and Lorelai devil-eggs Jess's car.
307 - November: Jess shows up at the dance marathon with Shane to annoy Rory. He annoys Lane at the sandwich stand, then annoys Dean and Rory. Jess makes out with Shane, being annoying, then Dean breaks up with Rory. Jess finds Rory at the lake, and he comforts her, and they admit to liking one another, so Jess goes to break up with Shane.
308 - November: Jess is awkward with Rory at the diner. Twice. Then they go upstairs, and very awkwardly talk. Luke walks in just as they kiss, then lays down ground rules about what they can get up to. Rory and Jess meet up later and kiss in the street.
309 - November: Jess meets Rory at a shop and they kiss, but she wants to hide it, and he agrees not to flaunt it. They have Thanksgiving dinner at the dinner. Rory comes by later, kisses him then runs off. Dean confronts Jess and tries to rile him up, but Jess doesn't want to fight because he knows he'll be blamed.
310 - December: Jess and Rory make out while out walking, and Rory invites him to winter carnival, but Jess doesn't want to go, though he agrees to meet up later. Before the carnival, Rory is still trying to invite him, when Dean shows up, and Jess suddenly agrees to go to carnival. Clara annoys Jess. Jess asks Rory about Dean, and Rory expects him to be mad, but Jess just wishes she'd told him they were talking again. Jess and Dean meet at the school and aggro at each other.
2003
312 - January: Jess notices Luke is being flirted with.
313 - February: Jess notices Luke is reading a restaurant guide for a date. Dean arrives with a long food order. When Luke comes back from date, Jess says he's going out for an hour to give him privacy, but Luke makes him go upstairs.
314 - February: Rory shows Jess a beatnik book, but doesn't lend it to him, and Rory invites him to dinner with Emily. Jess calls Rory after having seen a flier of Rory and Dean hanging out. Again, Jess says it's okay, he just wishes Rory tells him so he doesn't have to worry or find out other places. Lorelai walks in on Jess and Rory making out. Jess shows up at Emily's house with a black eye and doesn't want to talk about it. Rory presses him and thinks he fought Dean, while Jess is trying to be polite, so he leaves for not being trusted. Luke sees the black eye and demands answers, and Jess says he was attacked by a swan. Jess and Luke go to attack the swan at the lake. They talk about the dinner at Emily's, and dating Rory. Jess meets Rory again, and apologises for avoiding her calls, and she apologises for doubting him. He tells her he got a ball in his face.
315 - Februrary: Jess and Rory chat at the diner. Later, Jess is surprised Rory is annoyed he never called. Jess shows up at their house looking for Rory, and Lorelai questions him, while Jess isn't worried. Rory leaves an angry voicemail for Jess for not calling, but then Jess is waiting outside with tickets for a concert.
317 - April: Jess is employee at the month at Walmart, and Luke shows up, then finds out Jess is working fulltime. Jess shows up at Lane's window to talk to Rory, she asks if he's going to school enough, he says he sometimes skips to take extra shifts at work. In the morning, Jess leaves for work.
318 - April: Jess and Rory plan for movie watching, and he asks about Yale. Luke discovers Jess is skipping school, and Luke confronts him about it. Jess discovers his car has been stolen.
319 - April: Jess and Rory listen to Lane's band, and they talk about going to prom together. Jess tries to buy prom tickets, isn't allowed to, talks to principal, and finds out he's kicked out of school. Jess shows up where Lane's band is gonna play, and helps set up for party. He stays for the party but doesn't enjoy it, so he hides upstairs. Rory finds him and tries to comfort him, and they start kissing, on the bed. He tries to move things along, but she pushes him away, and he gets upset, which upsets her. Dean comforts her, and draws bad conclusions, so he attacks Jess and they get into a huge fight, trashing the place.
320 - May: Jess is working at the diner, being annoyed by customers, where his father is lurking. Luke confronts Jess about his fight with Dean, and the money required to pay back damages. Luke talks to Jimmy at his hotel. Jess and Rory almost talk to each other but not quite. When Jess is closing up, Jimmy shows up and tells him he's his father, and that he thought Luke would've said so. They listen to a song, then Jimmy runs off. Jess confronts Luke about Jimmy, and Jess reveals he's not graduating, and that he won't go back to school, so Luke kicks him out. Jess meets Rory on the bus, and apologises for not being able to get tickets to prom. Jess leaves town.
321 - May: Jess arrives at Venice beach. He goes to Jimmy's house and meets his girlfriend Sasha and checks out their house. She shows him around and leads him to Jimmy, and Jess and him talk, and he finds out what Jimmy's been doing with his life. Jess goes to a bookstore until Jimmy finds him. They talk emotionally, and Jess asks if he can stay with Jimmy, and he says Jess can.
322 - May: Jess keeps trying to call Rory, but never saying anything. Finally, Rory starts talking to him and trying to get him to talk. She tells him he handled things badly, and that she's not going to sit around and pine about him, even though she loved him.
2004
412 - February: Liz arrives in Stars Hollow, and she's had contact with Jess, who's been staying with his dad, then traveling. She tells Jess that Luke stole his car. Jess returns to get his car back, however his car breaks down after Luke reports it stolen, and Jess is brought back. They talk angrily, and Jess sleeps in his car. Luke eventually invites him in.
413 - February: Jess is moving his car to Gypsy's and trying to get it fixed. He bumps into Rory at a coffee shop. Back at Luke's, Liz introduces him to TJ. Luke tries to get Jess to help him figure out what to do about TJ, while Jess is annoyed and calls Luke out on meddling. Jess bumps into Rory at the bookstore. Jess tries to get answers about his car, when Lorelai confronts him about what he said to Luke. During the evening, Jess is finally able to pay Gypsy and leave (Luke having left money for him). He bumps into Rory, who runs away, and Jess follows her until she stops. He tells her he loves her, and then leaves town again.
420 - May: Luke tracks Jess down in New York and tells him to go to Liz's wedding. Jess shows up at the diner to stay with Luke. He attends TJ's bachelor party, TJ wants him to walk Liz down the aisle, then they end up fighting. Luke and Jess talk about feelings back at the diner. Luke gives Jess self-help books.
421 - May: Jess is reading self-help books in the park. Liz introduces Jess to her friends, until a male stripper arrives. Jess meets Dean at the store. Jess, TJ and Luke prepare for the wedding, then Jess walks Liz down the aisle. Jess talks to a prison guy at the reception. Before Jess leaves, he talks to Luke at their apartment, show appreciation and hug. Jess finds Rory at her Yale apartment, invites her to run away to New York together, tells her he's ready, but she says no and he leaves.
2005
608 - November: Jess shows up at Rory's apartment and wants to show her he's written a book, and thank her for believing in him. Jess shows up later to take her out to eat, and Logan shows up, so they all go together. Logan is jealous and really annoying, until Jess calls him out on it. Rory apologises for Logan's behavior, and Jess questions Rory about her life.
2006
618 - April: Jess has an art event at his publishing house Truncheon Books in Philly. Luke shows up with April, and Jess gets introduced. Later, Rory shows up. Jess gives Luke his book and pays him back, and hug. Rory stays around, complimenting him on his book. He kisses her, but she pulls back, since she's still with Logan. He's upset, but he's not mad.
